The Capri opened in 1943 โ World War II was on, gas was rationed, and Boise was a different kind of town. But people still needed breakfast, and they still needed somewhere to sit down for an hour and feel taken care of. That hasn't changed.
The downtown spot on Fairview is the original โ same building, same booths in many cases, the same red counter stools that have held up generations of farmers, families, and the kind of regulars who don't even need to order.
